We are looking for a Marketing Lead to join our team!
Who are we?
Maze is an impact investment firm created by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in 2013. We offer financial and non-financial tools to anyone committed to delivering positive social and environmental outcomes.
Who are you?
An energetic and charismatic person to lead maze’s strategy and tactical efforts to fulfil our growth and impact objectives across our existing marketing channels (website, social media, newsletters, PR, events) and:
- You are interested in the impact field and care about people and the planet;
- You have experience in b2b marketing (organic and paid);
- You are based in Lisbon and available to work hybrid (office and from home when suitable);
- You have proficient written and verbal communication in Portuguese and English;
- You are proficient in digital marketing tools and platforms (i.e. Hubspot)
- You have an analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights;
- You have managed a team before;
- You like to explore new work tools to make your work more productive;
- You can clearly articulate your thoughts and insights;
- You take initiative in solving problems and can work independently;
- You are competent at creating trust, managing expectations, and interacting effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
What can you expect from the job?
As a marketing lead joining our team, you will be expected to:
- Website: review our website experience and interface to clarify maze’s value proposition;
- PR: launch and nurture a network of journalists in Europe to position maze as a reference in impact investing space;
- Events: assist in planning and executing online and offline events, including webinars and investor meetings.
- Social media: oversee marketing campaigns, content planning and execution by our marketing analyst;
Additionally, you will team up with a partner and a marketing analyst and together, you will:
- Strategy: improve our marketing strategy and tactics to fulfil our growth and impact ambition;
- Market: stay updated on marketing and impact investing trends and best practices.
- Data Analysis: analyse marketing data to track campaign performance and suggest improvements based on insights.
- Stakeholder management: be competent at creating trust, managing expectations, and interacting effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

How?
This position is based in Lisbon, but maze has a hybrid work approach.
You will team up with Cristina (Partner) and Mafalda (Analyst). Work at maze is fluid, and you might also collaborate with other teams within maze.
