Internship Position
Maze is an impact investment firm created by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in 2013. We accelerate and invest in solutions that solve social and environmental challenges and we are now opening a 9-month internship in our team.
Who are you?
- You are interested in the impact field and care about people and the planet;
- You are a curious person, eager to learn about new topics and work areas;
- You are able to articulate your thoughts and insights in a clear manner;
- You are based in Lisbon and able to work from the office when necessary;
- You have a proficient written and verbal communication in Portuguese and in English;
- You have completed a Master’s degree in management or other relevant fields.
What can you expect from the job?
As an intern joining our team you will start by being exposed to our work across different teams. This might include:
- Learning about specific impact fields such as blue economy, maternal health, employment, among others;
- Following and supporting startups and other organisations that we work with across private, social and public sectors;
- Collecting and analysing relevant data and building deliverables (reports and presentations) that are insightful.

How?
This position is based in Lisbon, but maze has a hybrid work approach.
Work at maze is fluid, and you will collaborate with different teams within maze.
This is a full-time internship.
When?
