Maze Runner Award 2024: Nathalie Ballan

On October 10th, during maze’s 11th anniversary celebration, we had the pleasure of awarding the #mazeRunnerAward2024 to Nathalie Ballan, founder of Sair da Casca, in recognition of her enduring dedication to social impact. Nathalie has championed positive change for decades, and with Sair da Casca celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, this award underscores a lifetime of meaningful contributions.

The award was presented by Filipe Santos, last year’s maze Runner, alongside Antonio Miguel, Managing Partner at maze. Nathalie’s acceptance words struck a chord with all: “Early successes come when you have a different voice and vision, but sustaining impact over time takes resilience and fierce optimism.” This spirit of persistence highlights the journey of turning bold ideas into lasting impact.

For Nathalie, the maze Runner award represents more than individual achievement; it symbolizes “interdependence, cooperation, and the idea that the impact 'marathon' can only be won together.” Her words capture the heart of maze’s mission—creating a future where business is a force for good.
