We turned eleven years old

On October 10th, maze turned 11! To celebrate our journey, we hosted a day filled with events that brought together our community, from founders and investors to maze x partners and holders. It was a chance to reflect on the milestones we’ve reached, share insights, and celebrate the people who make maze what it is today and honouring the ones who came before.

Our day began with a breakfast gathering with some of the founders we proudly support. This was followed by a lunch with maze x holders and founders from our portfolio companies, where we delved into discussions on the future of impact investing. In the afternoon, we hosted a panel titled Partnerships for impact: scaling science-driven ventures in europe, exploring how scientific advances and innovation are paving the way for new solutions to social and environmental challenges.

As evening approached, our doors opened for a larger celebration, welcoming the whole maze family and friends. We held a special panel with our four partners—Antonio Miguel, Cristina Almeida, Margarida Anselmo, and Rita Casimiro—who shared their reflections on maze's journey in the past year and vision for the future. The highlight of the night came with the cake and the Maze Runner Award, passed on to our newest honoree, Nathalie Ballan, for her outstanding contributions to impact over the past 30 years.
